Job DescriptionThe Clinical Director oversees all clinical & counseling elements of the Treatment program; is responsible for implementing, overseeing, and improving all aspects of Treatment Protocol in line with applicable regulations, including Joint Commission standards for Substance Abuse Residential Treatment facilities.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Oversees a staff of individual and group therapy addiction therapists Meets with addiction therapists to provide clinical supervision Implements, reviews, and regularly improves Clinical Treatment Protocol to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and best practices Implements, reviews, and regularly improves Family Program to ensure active family participation in each patient's recovery Oversees and actively improves fitness, enrichment, chapel and/or other ancillary programs designed to complement Clinical Treatment Protocol Coordinates all outside speakers and guest lecturers included in... Treatment Protocol Reviews Biopsychosocial Evaluations and Individualized Treatment Plans Participates in weekly Treatment Team meetings to evaluate the progress of all patients and make recommendations for adjustments to Treatment Plan Serves as "Manager on Call" periodically as assigned by Administrator Conducts both individual patient therapy sessions and group therapy sessions as staffing limitations necessitate Performs all other tasks assigned by supervisorSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.COMPETENCIES - To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to manage the daily operations of the clinical department, including the remediations of department weaknesses while maintaining strengthsInterpersonal Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.

Excellent written, verbal, and non-verbal communication skills to interact with staff and patients appropriatelyLeadership Ability to lead by example and demonstrate strong clinical skills to the clinical team Ability to coach, motivate and organize the clinical team to provide the best treatment experience possible for patientsOrganization Prioritize and complete assigned tasks on time Monitor and ensure all group therapy sessions are assigned and have coverage Monitor and ensure all patients are assigned to a pod Monitor and ensure patients are receiving sufficient individual treatment sessionsSelf-Management Maintain calmness and composure during high-stress situationsLanguage, Math and Reasoning Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, and TRAINING: Active state license LCSW, LMFT, LCADC, or equivalent licensure Master's Degree or higher in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work or equivalent field Minimum 5 years' experience in a clinical role within the Chemical Dependency field Minimum of 2 years of managerial experience Must complete Kentucky approved course of at least 12 hours of specialized training in cli
