Medical Technologist Requirements: BS Required. ASCP certified or eligible as a Medical Technologist (MT), Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS), or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) (Must be certified within 6 months of date of hire.) One year of exposure to clinical laboratory techniques comparable to those performed in the laboratory.
Medical Laboratory Technician Requirements: Associates of Applied Science degree from a recognized college or university. ASCP certified or eligible (Must be certified within one six months of date of hire), and one year of exposure to clinical laboratory techniques comparable to those performed in this laboratory. One year of microbiology experience required.
