Job Description
Lago Del Oro Water is a water/waste water plant located in SaddleBrooke near Catalina in Tucson, Arizona. Lago Del Oro Water is an affiliated company of Robson Communities. The Electrician is a full time position that is responsible for maintaining, repairing, replacing electrical equipment and ensuring the overall operation of the electrical equipment utilized by the utilities division. A primary function of this job entails working with other departments to determine electrical needs for the division based on new projects or changes to existing equipment. Will be asked to perform other job duties, as assigned by management. PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES Preventative maintenance – will analyze equipment to determine if repair or replacement is necessary and then perform the appropriate repair/replacement. Will work with necessary electrical suppliers, vendors, engineers, land development and construction department, as appropriate. New Construction/Equipment – is responsible for developing, implementing and constructing new electrical equipment for all utility divisions based on new projects. Electrical emergencies – will respond to emergency electrical outages as required and perform required repairs. EXPERIENCE/SKILLS Must be experienced journeyman electrician Requires technical background for electrician and computer technician Lock out/tag out and electrical safety training Computer skills and software systems associated with electrical equipment Ability to respond to emergencies -- for repair of equipment Familiar with electrical coding requirements Robson Communities offers a comprehensive, competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k), vacation, sick and holiday pay.
