Customer Service Specialist

The goal of the Customer Service Representative is to provide prompt, efficient and professional call center support to all client participants with the goal of total client satisfaction. We're looking for candidates who are compassionate, empathetic, patient, and professional. Excellent communication skills and conflict resolution skills are a must. Candidates must be computer savvy and able to utilize multiple programs at the same time. Ability to work cooperatively with other company staff and handle customers in a courteous and efficient manner, regardless of customer temperament.

What you will do:

  • Answer Call Center incoming telephone calls, e-mail inquiries and instant message chats from clients and participants in a professional, courteous and timely manner
  • Identify benefit information and provide accurate and thorough information to all internal and external clients
  • Perform clerical duties, such as data-entry and filing
  • Research and analyze client issue and communicate any necessary information to the appropriate person for resolution

What you will need:

  • 1-2 years' general administration experience w/at least 6 months in a call center or customer service environment
  • Human Resources and/or insurance background is a plus
  • Ability to retain vast quantities of information
  • Accurate typing skills
