Position Purpose

The Tempo Screen Printing Press Operator is responsible for installation of screens with squeegee, production of quality assured silk screen metal press prints and any daily preventive maintenance. We're looking for 2nd shift, Monday through Friday, with opportunities for overtime.

Essential Functions & Principal Accountabilities
  • Reviews and completes specs from job tickets and layouts both accurately and precisely
  • Sets up and adjust press for job runs to meet specifications
  • Produce high quality label print jobs
  • Mount plates, press set-up, color match ink, press clean-up
  • Monitor quality during job runs
  • Monitors equipment during job runs, remains alert to mechanical problems and corrects or refer to maintenance as necessary
  • Follow approval procedures
  • Maintain a clean & neat work environment
  • Meet production standards for output and waste
  • Complete required production quality inspections
  • ISO program compliance and support
  • Meet production standards

Skills and Attributes We'd Like You to Have
  • Reasoning - Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed and involved written or oral instructions.
  • Analysis and Problem Solving - Ability to deal with problems involving many concrete variables in standardized and un-standardized situations
  • Collaboration - Ability to be a team player and assist others
  • Flexibility - Ability to work overtime and Saturday's when needed
  • Deadline motivated - Ability to handle the pressure of heavy work loads and meet deadlines

Experience We'd Like You to Have
  • High School Diploma or equivalent desired
  • Knowledge of Silk Screen Printing, Tempo preferred
  • 3-5 Years Manufacturing Press Operator Experience
  • Computer experience
