We are hiring a marketing data analyst to join our team! 

Job Title: Marketing Data Analyst I. 

Salary Ragne: $40,000 - $45,000

Brief summary of the position – As part of our team, the marketing data analyst I works side-by-side with other organizational stakeholders to skillfully manage a creative digital presence for various clients.

Team - The marketing data analyst I works on the digital strategy team with support from the Digital Strategist Team Lead, and cross-functionally, in collaboration with dedicated marketing professionals. 

Hours of Work - This is a full-time position working within +/- 5% of 40 hours per week. LaFleur believes that people who have healthy personal lives have better work lives. Essential Functions – The marketing data analyst is responsible for using data to analyze, provide insight, and give recommendations to help internal and external clients reach desired goals and KPIs. Additional responsibilities include:

  • Define key strategies that align with online marketing/business objectives, data trends, and relevant KPIs.
  • Determine the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, strategies, and tactics by analyzing target KPIs.
  • Create detailed reporting on KPIs most important to internal and external clients for regularly scheduled and one-off meetings.
  •  Analyze key demographics and behaviors via available analytics to help inform and develop customer/client acquisition strategies for LaFleur and our clients.
  • Analyze data and make note of anomalies and provide an explanation as needed.
  • Provide business insights through analytics to inform and develop initiatives that enhance and improve online marketing and website performance.
  • Notify key internal stakeholders about the status of current campaigns by informing which tactics and strategies are most effective as well as recommendations for how to tweak campaigns to get maximum attention and create more revenue.
  •  Compile detailed reports for clients and LaFleur that are complete with spreadsheet data, graphs, and callouts to important client KPIs.
  • Assist the content team with client keyword and competitor research.
  • Stay on top of industry trends and use a wide variety of programs and technologies to test/develop/implement new ideas and strategies to generate digital marketing success.
  • Research and implement search engine optimization recommendations.
  • Develop KPI strategy and ROI measurement for the overall lead generation efforts for clients and LaFleur.
  • Work with web developers to implement new tracking tools and ensure they are working properly on an ongoing basis.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to determine ongoing business needs to design, develop, and produce ongoing reports and dashboards to support the business.
  • Conduct market research to analyze the competitive landscape, determine brand perceptions, identify new market opportunities, and help with overall SWOT analysis for LaFleur and the services we offer.

Special and/or Particular Requirements

  • Minimum of 21 years of age (Due to the nature of this particular client).

  • High level of organizational skills, goal-orientation, self-motivation, and self-direction.
  • Collaborative working in cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to adapt quickly and comfortably to change within the workplace.

Qualifications - The marketing data analyst I should have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in market research or a related business, communications, or social science field and 1 year of work experience in marketing research, statistical or data analyst (or academic equivalent). Strong candidates will have many of the following skills and qualities:

  • Strong strategic, analytical, and communication skills to relay technical information, data, and results to non-technical individuals.
  • Knowledge of and experience with data-tracking platforms, such as Google Analytics, PowerBI, SEMRush, Facebook, Google AdWords, etc.
  • Experience compiling and analyzing data and making recommendations based on trends and anomalies.
  • Ability to stay on top of the latest analytics technology and trends and make recommendations on software.

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods in a stationary position (seated or standing).
  • May be required to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
