The Corporate Graphic Designer is a detail oriented and creative juggernaut whose skill sets and flexibility allows them to manage multiple projects and timelines while delivering engaging and brand consistent marketing assets to support the broader organizations’ Sales and Marketing objectives. The Graphic Designer’s attention to detail and ability to work well within a team should set the bar for those around them.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (include the following)
Develop engaging, high-quality marketing designs and concepts within the fast-paced, often changing parameters of the Corporate Marketing Department.
Review and analyze existing design templates and marketing assets to resize, update, change visuals and adjust layout, suggesting improvements as needed.
Produces marketing and internal communications including promotional literature, advertising, trade show displays, and website content, machine dressing/branding as needed
Work with Communications and Marketing Specialists to execute on Marketing Strategies for content marketing.
Work with marketing team members to execute on all other marketing projects (Product Managers, Tradeshow/Event Managers, and Communications Manager).
Effectively communicates LSI’s value to the marketplace, supporting the sales and marketing organization with promotional materials, and support to maintain the LSI brand identity standards company-wide.
Support updates to the website and social media accounts.
Balance tight deadlines with great design and precision.
Assist in marketing communication activities as determined by Marketing leadership
Help manage outside vendors and assets related to digital and print work.

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, information design or other discipline related to the primary responsibilities preferred; or equivalent experience.
5+ years working in marketing communications teams or cross functional organizations
Minimum 7+ years professional design experience (in a variety of mediums) - previous experience in manufacturing and B2B preferred.
Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office Products
Demonstrated experience with brand management is a must.
Proficiency in the use of social media and web-based platforms for B2B purposes a plus.
Extensive knowledge of Graphic Design, Print Design/Layout, Web Design and Development (HTML 5, CSS 3) with experience in design/development for both mobile and desktop applications.
Video Editing/Post-Production and applicable software (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Encore) a plus
Photography experience or understanding of photographic principles (lighting, composition, photographic hardware) a must.
Strong proofreading, layout and design, professional printing/publishing skills are essential, including ability to present concepts verbally and effectively respond to questions from groups of managers, clients and customers.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
