LSIs mission is to help our clients solve their most complex business, economic, and social challenges.  We provide business development, economic development, and social impact contract support for our clients. LSIs clientele includes federal, state, and local entities and their contractors.  To meet our ongoing corporate growth strategy, we are hiring Account Executives to join our Business Development Team. This position can be worked remote Remote (or Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco, Seattle, Salt Lake City, Denver/Colorado Springs, Phoenix, Dallas/Ft. Worth, Houston, Chicago, Detroit, Boston, New York, Washington DC metro area, Huntsville, Atlanta)

Job Responsibilities:

Your focus as an LSI Account Executive (AE), will be assisting our clients deliver results.  LSIs AEs develop long-term relationships with new and existing client stakeholders ensuring successful service delivery. Specific responsibilities of an LSI AE include:

  • Establishing relationships with client stakeholders
  • Understanding the clients needs
  • Educating the client of LSIs capabilities
  • Developing solutions that marry the clients needs to LSIs capabilities
  • Memorializing the solution in the form of a proposal which include integrated plans to establish, monitor, manager, and report key milestones and deliverables
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven success in consulting/professional services account management and business development
  • Demonstrated track record of successfully capturing large and complex consulting engagements
  • Ability to establish immediate credibility with clients, build consensus, and achieve goals through influence
  • Excellent communications, listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to develop a $30 million opportunity pipeline and capture $10 million in new business over the next 12 months
  • Able to travel approximately one week per month

Desired Qualifications:

  • Understands federal acquisition and government contracting
  • History as a business development executive with a large government contractor
  • Former LSI client
