Our startup company is composed of a small veteran staff of producers and engineers, who have worked with Billboard talents like Usher, Zaccari, and Smokepurpp as well as local talent like Xanman, Bigflock, and Los Poligoma. Job Purpose: Remote Podcast Audio Engineer intern wanted this summer semester to learn about audio engineering. During your time here, you will learn a variety of crucial tasks including but not limited to live audio engineering, mixing, and project coordination. Looking for a creative, with good engineering skills and loves media production.  

What You’ll Do:

  • 10 - 15 hours of work per week
  • Audio mixing for media projects (sync, podcasts, ect)
  • Audio recording (Assist and lead in recording audio for media & studio projects)
  • Studio set up and tear down
  • Bus Routing
  • Work with the other teams to brand and develop and produce media content

Who You Are:

  • Currently enrolled in a college or university
  • Passionate about the entertainment industry, and have a desire to build a career in the industry
  • Able to adapt to a quickly changing environment with minimal disruption
  • Experienced with multiple studio daws (Protools, Logic, Ableton, Reaper, Cubase)
  • An excellent communicator and enthusiastic collaborator who works well with team members, external partners, and senior management
  • You are hungry to learn and grow. You are curious, ask questions and get excited about new projects
  • A highly organized person that pays close attention to the details
  • Sound, professional presence over the phone and during times of stress
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
  • Proficient in Protools or Ableton

    1. Add the recording to your DAW and mix the recording so that it sounds clean crisp and as close to “industry standard” as possible
    2. The first word in your recording is “eureka” the last word is “loud”
    3. Make sure that the file is a mp3 not a wav file 
    4. Upload the file to Google Drive. If you do not have an account you can create one for free one here. Add the to Google drive link as the very final item of your cover letter
