These products can be found in professional and project recording studios, video and broadcast suites, post-production facilities, sound reinforcement applications including houses of worship, stadiums, nightclubs, retail locations, and on major musical concert tours. LOUD Audio seeks a driven, process-oriented professional with strong analytical skills. Position Summary: As a key member of the Executive Management team, the Chief Financial Officer will report to the President/CEO and assume a strategic role in the overall management of the company. The CFO will have primary day-to-day responsibility for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial-related activities of the company. This will include direct responsibility for accounting, finance, forecasting, strategic planning, job costing, legal, property management, deal analysis and negotiations, investor relationships, partnership compliance and private / institutional financing. This role is also responsible for overseeing the IT aspects of the company and works with the team to grow the company through the use of technological resources. Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities: · Plan, develop, organize, implement, direct and evaluate the organization's fiscal function and performance. · Participate in the development of the corporation's plans and programs as a strategic partner. · Evaluate and advise on the impact of long-range planning, introduction of new programs/strategies and regulatory action. · Develop credibility for the finance group by providing timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial reports and financial trends in order to assist the President/CEO, the Board, and other senior executives in performing their responsibilities. · Enhance and/or develop, implement and enforce policies and procedures of the organization by way of systems that will improve the overall operation and effectiveness of the corporation. · Establish credibility throughout the organization and with the Board as an effective developer of solutions to business challenges. · Provide technical financial advice and knowledge to others within the financial discipline. · Continual improvement of the budgeting process through education of department managers on financial issues impacting department budgets. · Provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision making issues affecting the organization; i.e., evaluation of potential alliances acquisitions and/or mergers and pension funds and investments. · Optimize the handling of bank and deposit relationships and initiate appropriate strategies to enhance cash position. · Develop a reliable cash flow projection process and reporting mechanism that includes minimum cash threshold to meet operating needs. · Review and contain costs and proactively identify areas where costs can be reduced, and waste can be eliminated. · Be an advisor from the financial perspective on any contracts and vendors into which the corporation may enter. · Evaluate the finance division structure and team plan for continual improvement of the efficiency and effectiveness of the group as well as provide individuals with professional and personal growth with emphasis on opportunities (where possible) of individuals. · Establish the company’s technical vision and leads all aspects of the company’s technological development. Manage the IT department and related vendors to ensure security, compliance, and efficiency. · Lead, coach, and mentor direct reports/employees. Role models effective leadership, mentorship, and coaching for all employees. · Perform such duties and assume such other responsibilities as may be required. Education and/or Experience: · BS in Accounting or Finance, MBA and/or CPA highly desirable · 10-15 years in progressively responsible financial leadership roles Supervisory Responsibility: This position is responsible for the direct supervision of the controller and the indirect supervision of all employees in the accounting, finance and IT department.
