LNK International is a growing OTC pharmaceutical manufacturer with several locations in Hauppauge on Long Island. We seek an experienced Production Planner that meet the following requirements.

Minimum Education or Experience Required:

· Associate’s Degree (business preferred) or equivalent experience

· APICS classes/certification preferred

· Minimum 5 – 10 years experience in a production planning/material control environment with MRP proficiency (QAD or SAP preferred)

· Must be proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word)

· Must possess excellent analytical, organizational and communicational skills

· Ability to function under minimal supervision

Areas of Responsibility:

· Plans bulk tablets through various tableting operations to ensure on-time delivery.

· Monitors production activities to assure schedules are adhered to and deadlines are met.

· Works closely with planning department to assure materials are received on-time.

· Tracks bulk tablets shortages and prepares shortage reports.

· Tracks production schedule against actual bulk tablet delivery.

· Executes MRP signals generated by the Master Schedule, Sales Orders and Forecasts.

· Required to participate in weekly bulk tablet meetings.

· Notifies the planning and tableting manager of any issues and overdue material that may jeopardize on-time deliveries to customers.

· Performs other duties as necessary and as assigned by manager.

· Must be able to work overtime as needed.
