Facilitating outpatient substance abuse counseling groups for adults and/or adolescents.
Conduct bio/psycho/social evaluations and provide therapeutic interventions including crisis counseling to individuals, groups and families as needed.
Evaluate the individual and family systems as well as assess client’s functioning within work, family and routines of daily living and identifies areas needing continued support, resources and treatment in order to assist clients.
Develop, implement, and maintain partnerships with other community providers.
Maintain case records to reflect course of treatment and provide required documentation.
Provide follow-up and aftercare planning services as needed.
Discharge planning and documentation for clients completing treatment.
Answer incoming client phone calls to assist in scheduling intake appointments.
Attend staff meetings, supervisory conferences, and other activities, which ensure the smooth functioning of clinical operations.
Preparing documentation for court reports and court evaluations.
Treatment planning for individual clients.
Timely note taking and report completion.
Strict adherence to standards for paperwork quality and deadlines.
Provide all treatment in line with established company policies including the professional code of conduct and ethics.
Other duties as determined by the Clinical Director and Executive Director.
The preferred candidate would posses the following:
DUI treatment certification
1 year experience in addictions counseling or related field experience in group work
Experience in conducting assessments
Bi-lingual preferred, but not required
3 professional references
