Job Description
HR ADMIN
A manufacturing company in East Rutherford, NJ is looking to hire a temporary to permanent HR Admin. This role will be 100% in office. The hours are Monday through Friday 8AM to 5PM with a 1-hour lunch. The qualified candidate should have at least 1 year as an HR Admin supporting a corporate HR team.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Posting jobs on company job boards
- Reviewing applicant resumes
- Prescreening applicants
- Scheduling interviews with managers
- Conducting preemployment checks
- Creating new hire files
- Handling onboarding and offboarding
- Any additional administrative tasks to support the HR team
- At least 1 year of experience as an HR Admin
- High school diploma required. Bachelors Degree in Human Resources is preferred
- Strong MS Office skills, including the ability to do mail merges in MS Word
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Organized and detail oriented
- Self starter
