POSITION SUMMARY
To perform this job successfully, the PLC Operator is responsible for the operation of the PLC system to ensure the production schedule and sanitation requirement are fulfill.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Operate PLC system to control the raw material dumping, mixing, cooking process.
• Collect hot samples for QC lab testing.
• Perform adjustment in cooking tanks according to QC instruction.
• Record cooking and sanitation parameter.
• Perform CIP cleaning.
• Work with Processing, Filling, and Sanitation Team to fulfill production schedule and sanitation requirement.
• Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.

This position requires a High School Diploma or GED with 2 years university attendance and basic computer knowledge. Machine operating experience in food processing or PLC system a distinctive plus.

LANGUAGE SKILLS / MATHEMATICAL SKILLS / REASONING ABILITY
Successful candidate must possess excellent verbal and written communication.

Ability to add, subtracts, multiply, and divides in all units of measure.

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to read and comprehend equipment manuals and electrical diagrams for set-up control loops is a plus.
