Job Title: Customer Support Representative
Reports To: Office Manager
Performs duties of professional customer support representative in calibration laboratory environment
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Assists in day to day tasks (handling customer inquiries, capability questions, equipment status, etc.).
· Answer telephone calls and emails on daily basis
· Work closely with customers to prepare quotes, place orders with suppliers and ensure that customer orders and expedited in a timely manner.
· Work with customers to schedule on-site and in house calibration & repairs of equipment.
· Receive equipment and entering into database, create work orders, and follow up with the lab to ensure timely competition of all items.
· As needed, prepare packing list and inspect the items for correct documentation.
· Ensuring the effective control and entry of calibration data and records.
· May be tasked with receiving, packing and shipping duties as needed.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
At-least 12th grade pass with 2 years of related experience and/or diploma in any technical field with 1 year of related experience and also sound background in working within a professional office environment is needed.
Ability to read, interpret national and international quality standards relating to a calibration and testing laboratories. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to effectively present information to top management as needed.
Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts relating to accounting and receiving functions
Ability to apply principles of logical or reasoning in the scheduling of clients and technical staff to ensure a minimum of idle time between service calls.
Local occasional travel in Maine and rest of New England
