These are temp to hire. Must have some sort of manufacturing experience or completion of a trade program and experience using tools.There is only 1 shift. Start time is flexible between 7-8 a.m. (a lot of their employees use public transportation)
Dimensional Inspector who maintains quality standards by approving incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products; recording quality results.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Responsible for First Article, receiving, in-process and final inspection. Approves incoming materials by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; rejecting and returning unacceptable materials.
Maintains integrity of the quality system database while meeting all customer requirements.
Proven ability to use various quality test and measurement tools.
Approves in-process production by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; communicating required adjustments to production & quality leads/managers.
Provides instruction and assistance to production as required.
Approves finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; returning products for re-work; confirming re-work.
Organizes and prioritizes work so that production schedules are maintained.
Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs; inputting data into quality database.
Assists in monitoring quality standards and the quality system, including but not limited to ISO9001, AS9100, Bridgeways QMS, and customer procedures and policies.
Keeps measurement equipment operating and ensures it is within certification.
Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.
Acts as a strong role model for production workers in order to actively promote quality initiatives and procedures.
Works collaboratively with department heads on electronic manufacturing support systems in order to achieve strategic growth objectives.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Associates degree is an asset. High school and two years-related experience and/or training in the manufacturing field; or equivalent combination experience and education. Prefer prior experience in working with individuals with serious and persistent mental illness. Experience in Lean Manufacturing, Quality Control, Production and Inventory Control, General Manufacturing and ISO 9000 or AS 9100 quality systems is highly desirable.
Ability to read, analyzes, and interprets common scientific / technical journals, manufacturing and customer specifications, and familiarity with engineering vocabulary and symbols. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, suppliers, and internal employees. Ability to effectively present information to all levels of the organization, public groups, customers and/or suppliers.
Ability to organize, multi-task, problem solve and perform job duties with minimal direct supervision.

Valid Washington State Driver's License. Customer required certifications as applicable.
