Janitor Supervisor (Industrial)

Industrial Cleaning Supervisor - Springfield, OH

Schedule: Sunday-Thursday, 10 PM-6:30 AM

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16-18/hour

Duties:

• This is a working supervisor role that leads by example, completes end-of-shift reporting, and oversees a team of up to 6 cleaners
• Routine building and factory cleaning, including restrooms, offices, break rooms, stairwells, and all other site-specific areas.
• Will assist with Industrial Cleaning activities such as hydro-blasting the paint booth, cleaning dyno booth, cleaning under assembly lines.
• Cleaning will include trash/recycle removal, sweeping, mopping, stocking restrooms, vacuuming, window cleaning, dusting, dust-mopping, and additional tasks outlined in the scope of work.
• Cleaner will be required to comply with all safety rules, policies, and procedures. Stops risky behavior of others and self.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of various cleaning products, their safety, and when to use them.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment
• Ability to clean and disinfect various surfaces.
• Good organization skills.
• Knowledge of safety guidelines when working with chemical cleaners.
• Excellent time-management skills.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents.
• Ability to manage and supervise a team, promote good culture, ensure employee productivity and satisfaction

Requirements:

• Supervisor and warehouse/production experience.
• Comfortable walking, standing, reaching, stooping, bending, and lifting 40lbs individually.
• Must wear steel-toe shoes/boots upon employment. (Note: we will reimburse up to $50.00 if purchasing steel-toe shoes/boots. Reimbursement will be provided after 90 days of employment)
• This high-profile position requires the ability to pass background check requirements including a drug screen

1st shift: Monday - Friday 6am-2:30pm

2nd shift: Monday - Friday 3pm-11:30pm

3rd shift: Sunday - Thursday 10pm – 6:30am
