The Performance Management Data Support Specialist II supports the performance monitoring program by managing the data exchange programs. Delegates are responsible for monitoring electronic file exchanges used for compliance and performance monitoring. The position will include maintaining tasks to evaluate data quality assurance and tracking re-submissions due to errors or incompleteness of data files. The position applies technical skills to develop compliance reports on the identified schedule. The position works closely with Health Outcomes and Analysis and Regulatory Affairs and Compliance to ensure compliance reports meet the technical specifications.
Maintain data entry for Regulatory Affairs and Compliance most current Medicare Compliance Tool (On-line Monitoring Tool). Manage data reports received from delegates as defined in the most current regulatory technical specification guides and/or delegation reporting calendar. Integrate data form delegates as needed.
Communicate with stakeholders/ clients/ collaborators regarding project details and plan. Communicates to supervisors any barriers to completing assignments or daily work with delegation in an efficient and effective manner.
Maintain documentation for data reporting through 1) data desk top procedures, 2) data flows, 2) data mapping; maintain processes to evaluate data accuracy and completeness.
Develop and maintain the delegate tracking schedules; monitor and adjust them accordingly to the most recent guidance from regulatory or accreditation agencies.
Assist co-workers with special projects as work volume permits. Actively identifies and implements efforts to improve the quality, effectiveness and efficiency of job functions.
Perform other duties as assigned.
In lieu of degree, equivalent education and/or experience may be considered.
At least 0-2 years of experience in health services/operations; background in data analysis/ integration.
Working knowledge of medium to advanced PLSQL are highly preferred.
Basic working knowledge of PLSQL.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Must demonstrate appropriate attention to detail and efficient organization skills.
