Job Description

Private career school seeks leader who possesses previous educational administrative experience in an accredited trade school, preferably ACCSC. To qualify, candidate must have a positive attitude, can maneuver in a fast-paced environment, and have great organizational skills and attention for detail, a self-starter, resourceful, computer proficient, and a proven record of accomplishment. The Director will report directly to the Founder and be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations of the Education Department. Responsibilities includes, but are not limited to the following:

Administrative

1. Assists the School Director in developing and implementing policies, procedures and school oversight;

2. Provide planning support and implementation for “all team” meetings and instructor training;

3. Conduct classroom observations;

4. Work with the founder and faculty members to perform curriculum reviews;

5. Recruit, monitor, coach, evaluate, and train faculty on classroom management and instruction delivery methods to improve quality of instruction;

6. Monitor student performance related to retention, attendance, academic progress, and completion outcomes;

7. Prepare class schedules to optimize class size for achieving an effective student learning experience;

8. Establish systems to ensure a smooth flow of daily activities.

9. Perform effective remediation of problems when needed.

10. Work with Department Heads to maximize school performance.

12. Manage and integrate technical support systems, software, and hardware.

 

Requirements

Three or more years of Education or School Department Management work experience.

 

Preferred (not required)

Cosmetology, Makeup Artistry, or Trade School Management Experience
