Job Description

Position Summary: 

Responsible for first and second level IT support for our users in the US, Mexico and Brazil; within our corporate network; and global IT Services.  Support our IT Managed Workplace Devices for all office users, which also applies to our production IT with special devices and programs.  Close collaboration with our global IT units.  

 Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Responsible to perform remote / onsite troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions.
  • Responsible to record events and problems and their resolution in IT Service Desk tool logs.
  • Responsible to follow-up and update end user status and information.
  • Responsible to forward on any feedback or suggestions by end users to the appropriate internal team.
  • Responsible to identify and suggest possible improvements on procedures.
  • Responsible to participate in pilot testing of new or improved IT Services before roll out to end users.
  • Responsible to maintain and support user accounts, access permissions, and IT Lifecycle of various IT assets including replacement of devices.
  • Responsible for integrating related operations or services.
  • Responsible to undertake more complex and critical research and analysis for members of the organization in a wide range of specialties and prepares and presents interpretation of findings and provides relevant conclusions.
  • Responsible to perform independent research and analyses for use in the development of business strategies and tactics.   Interprets results and provides recommendations for further consideration.
  • Responsible to provide specialized advice to assigned area for the resolution of operational and functional   problems and issues. May provide work leadership and direction for other members of staff and/or train less experienced analysts.  May represent a transition from individual contributor to managerial level.
  • Responsible to propose improvements to processes and methods of work and analysis, and contributes to ensuring that they are continuously adapted to business requirements.
  • Responsible to coordinate and leads complex projects; often serves as a cross-functional team member or team leader on special projects, assignments, or initiatives.   Frequently provides leadership to others in group settings
  • Responsible to prepare advanced reports, studies, forecasts, and trends for management and carries out needed analyses.  Utilizes excellent theoretical and practical knowledge of different analytical techniques to provide recommendations to management.
  • Responsible to provide support to the US, Mexico and Brazil.  Manage the performance and maintain security of both local and global networks and systems.   Document all processes and scripts that are used to perform all job functions.  Coordinate with other IT Corporate areas to partner and resolve problems/create advancements or efficiencies proactively where necessary.
  • Responsible to respond to inquiries and requests for assistance with the organization's computer network, PCs, applications (i.e. Citrix, CRM etc.), software, websites/portals, tablets, phones, email groupings, document folder setup/security, password administration/resets, and other systems/devices.  Identify problems, troubleshoots and provide advice/alternatives to assist users.
  • Responsible to perform day-to-day design testing, modifications for performance, and maintenance programming to meet the corporate initiatives.  Maintain an organized work area and files to ensure data is current.  
  • Responsible to research and provides strategies and recommendations to upgrades/system enhancements within the area of control.   Maintain liaison with all related departments to ensure maximum contribution toward meeting operational and long-range objectives.  Provide independent judgment and expertise to create better solutions for users in accordance to the issues/needs of the department.
  • Responsible to manage the phone, iPad, and other device contracts/billings as required. Manage other IT related tasks for the business units as required.
  • Responsible to ensure compliance with all associated Quality System, legal, technical and other company regulations within area of responsibility (includes the Code of Conduct, email policies, EEO, personnel practices, etc.).
  • Responsible to develop, manage, and maintain budget and proprietary information and files in conjunction with established budget and profit margin forecasts and other protocols.
  • Responsible to manage special projects as determined by the Director of Finance within the area while ensuring accurate and timely output.   Follow compliance policies, practices, and procedures from both a company and department perspective (i.e.. Code of Conduct, IFRS, Accounting procedures, etc.).
  • Responsible for other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications / Skills:

  • Effectively communicate both orally and in writing with all levels of Management as needed
  • Organized, efficient, proactive, polished, relational, innovative, assertive, and reliable
  •     High quality of work and service
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  •     Ability to interact with non-technical staff regarding technical topics.
  •     3-5 years or more IT experience in both networked and virtual environments, preferably, covering following areas:
  1. Active Directory / Exchange services (on premise and/or online)
  2. Windows 10 / 7 / XP (English language)
  3. Microsoft Office 365 + Microsoft Office 2016
  4. Outlook / Skype for Business / OneDrive for Business
  5. Citrix Desktop
  6. iOS devices (iPhone / iPad), Microsoft Intune
  7. Basic troubleshooting skills (network, DNS, DHCP, hardware, software)
  8. Experiences in ITIL processes

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in an IT/Network related field
  • 3-5 years of experience directly related to the field
  • SAP knowledge preferred
  • Experience with virus protection administration and maintain security a plus
  • Experience working in a global IT environment a plus
