Nature of Work:

The Human Resources Manager for Denver-based Kroenke Sports & Entertainment (KSE) will be an integral part of the Human Resources team and will assist in the development and implementation of best-practice Human Resources practices that supports and aligns with KSE’s business goals and strategic plans.

Partnering with specific internal client groups including Major League Fishing/Fishing League Worldwide (MLFLW), Winnercomm, Outdoor Sportsman Group, and SkyCam, the Human Resources Manager will assist with implementing and maintaining human resources policies and programs. Areas of concentration include, but are not limited to, staffing and recruitment, employee relations, training, people programs/projects, compensation, performance management as well as assisting and advising management and employees on human resources issues. This is a supervisory role with direct reports.


Examples of work performed:

Employee Relations

  • Provide support consultation regarding personnel and job-related grievances to ensure company policies and procedures are administered fairly and consistently.
  • Assist with the establishment and compliance of all HR-related policies and procedures.
  • Protect interests of employees and the company in accordance with company policies and governmental laws and regulations, by state.


Staffing & Recruitment

  • Assist in the development of staffing and recruitment initiatives for your client groups.
  • Develop recruitment and selection strategies including employment advertising, recruitment campaigns, and employment processes with the assistance and involvement of key staff.
  • Ensure compliance of recruitment and selection-related activities.
  • Oversee job description development and implementation of job analysis processes for your client groups.


Compensation

  • Assist with the administration of company-wide salary administration program to ensure company compensation policies and procedures are administered fairly and consistently.


Training & Development

  • Assist the HR team in New Employee Orientation, as requested.
  • Assist in the development of training material and implementation of employee training programs.


People Programs and Projects

  • HR metrics owner for specific client groups (i.e. turnover, hiring, engagement, etc.)
  • Project leader on minimum one people program/project annually (i.e. mentor program, internship program, etc.)

Working Conditions & Physical Demands:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
  • Hybrid working as determined/approved by supervisor.
  • Travel to out of state client groups less than 5%.

  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS (ADP) and talent management systems.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum
    • BS/BA degree in Human Resources or related field required.
    • 5+ years’ experience in Human Resources, showing progressive professional experience.
  • Preferred
    • PHR or SPHR/ SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP Certification.
    • HR Generalist background with 2+ years HR supervisory experience preferred.


Compensation

Based on qualifications and experience.

  • Base salary $70,000.00 per annum
  • Eligible for annual discretionary bonus
