Nature of Work:

Responsible for assisting in the establishment of a consistent dashboard and financial reporting framework for multiple entities, and related special projects. This individual will utilize operational insight and statistical analysis to create, data modeling, and research analytic projects.

Responsible for assisting in the establishment of a consistent dashboard and financial reporting framework for multiple entities, and related special projects. This individual will utilize operational insight and statistical analysis to create, data modeling, and research analytic projects

Examples of work performed:
  • Advocate and demonstrate the value of using data in helping to drive business decisions
  • Develop techniques to identify, extract, and analyze data to support business decisions
  • Assist in the development and implementation of standardized, company-wide reporting
  • Thoroughly understand and create dashboards related to financial reporting processes
  • Investigate manual processes and offer automated, standardized workflows and reports
  • Perform data validation procedures and audit final reports
  • Identify and program KPI and other non-financial source data for dashboard creation
  • Effectively communicate findings and recommended corrective actions to varying levels of management through interaction and presentations

Qualifications:
  • Minimum
    1. Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Statistics, Computer Sciences, or closely related field
    2. Minimum 4-6 years of work experience in business operations involving analysis, statistics, and/or strategy including Tableau, R, Python
    3. Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.


Competencies/Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Ability to develop metrics from accounting and operational systems
  • Proficiency in analytic tools
    • Data Querying/Modeling/Management: SQL, Python, R, Amazon Web Services (S3, Redshift, and SageMaker), Stata
    • Data Reporting: Tableau, Power BI, Excel (with knowledge in Pivot Tables and VBA coding/macros)
  • Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative team environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Cooperative attitude and flexible approach to a wide variety of situations
  • Ability to organize and work in a fast-paced environment

Compensation:
  • Base salary range $75,000-$90,000 per annum
  • Eligible for annual discretionary bonus
