Koniag Professional Services, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking an Industry Engagement Specialist with a Secret Clearance to support KPS and our government customer at the Pentagon. This is a hybrid on/offsite position.

Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:
  • Serve as a liaison between defense industry vendors and customers.
  • Provide real time updates to Industry Engagement Tracker.
  • Coordinate logistical arrangements, including parking and visitor access, for industry engagements.
  • Submit taskers each industry engagement and compile read-ahead, briefing materials and reference information for the customer based on materials received through these taskers.
  • Coordinate directly with front offices regarding industry engagements, conferences, and trade shows, speaking engagements, and visits to industry facilities.
  • Assist the Industry Engagement Lead in providing industry engagement support to Army Senior Leaders, including the Secretary of the Army, Under Secretary of the Army, Chief of Staff of the Army, and Vice Chief of Staff of the Army.
  • Execute records management tasks as necessary for documents related to industry engagements.
  • Assist in the development of industry itineraries for leadership attendance at trade shows.
  • Provide support to ASA(ALT) leadership at and in advance of the Association of the United States Army (AUSA) Annual Meeting.
Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Analyst with at least two (2) years of industry engagement support experience or experience working in the defense industry.
  • Understanding of the defense industry and major defense companies.
  • Ability to coordinate with various industry and governmental stakeholders.
  • Ability to consolidate and summarize a large amount of technical information into industry engagement read-ahead and other preparatory materials.
  • Ability to attend meetings with industry and prepare executive summaries, including actions items.
  • Strong organizational skills, including the ability to keep track of upcoming and past industry engagements and preparatory materials.
  • Possess current DoD Secret security clearance.
Working Environment & Conditions
This job operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand, walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations and withstand moderate amounts of stress.
The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
