Instructional Design Consultant (Indiana-based)

We seek to hire an Indiana-based Instructional Design Consultant, full-time (40 hours per week), to work in a complex state government consulting project environment in Indianapolis. The contract for this work, which is already in place, extends until September 30, 2023, with a possible extension of one year past that date.

The candidate must live in Indiana and will work remotely with occasional company in-person events.

Primary Responsibilities

• Design and develop, in Articulate Storyline 360, effective and engaging e-learning and blended learning lessons to support human services staff working in call center and local office environments.
• Work in a highly collaborative team environment with subject matter experts to understand the policy and procedures relevant to the lessons being created, participate in internal and external lesson reviews across multiple shared document repositories and support continuous improvement.

Benefits

• Salary: $54,000-$57,000, depending on experience

Requirements

• At least five (5) years of experience (or combination of relevant education and work experience) in instructional design and training development.
• Knowledge and experience employing current instructional design methodologies.
• Proficient using Articulate Storyline 360, Adobe Captivate or similar, to develop effective adult learning content.
• Experience in a government consulting environment, serving on teams comprised of multiple companies or agencies.
