Equipment Technician

This position will be responsible for shipping, receiving, and order selection. There are day-to-day activities may vary and may include doing general maintenance and cleaning around the facility when there is downtime. This role may be required to roll pipes, grinding, building pallets, and operating a forklift. Must be willing to work flexible hours and possibly weekends.

1. All duties are performed in accordance with applicable safety guidelines and attend safety meetings
2. Maintains a safe working environment by following general housekeeping and an organized work area
3. May operate heavy machinery [e.g. forklift, crane, etc.]
4. Responsible for making sure that all power tools, equipment, and hand tools are inspected daily to insure they are good working order, and stored in their respective storage areas
5. Performs a combination of shipping and receiving duties which may include loading and unloading equipment
6. Painting, coating pipes, Machine operating, and Pressure washing
7. Other duties as assigned

1. Forklift Operator experience is a plus
2. One (1) year experience
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
4. Ability to work with minimal supervision
5. Safety and service oriented
6. Team player
7. Positive attitude
8. May be asked to operate a company vehicle
9. Basic understanding of machine operating and safety protocols
10. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

1. Typically works in a moderately noisy environment
2. Routine exposure to the elements, including working outdoors and in a non-climate controlled building
3. Repetitive motions

1. High School Diploma or GED
2. Oilfield industry experience
3. Forklift experience
