POSITION SUMMARY: Support the Bank’s overall mission and implements standards, policies and procedures, confidentiality guidelines and regulatory issues.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
· Provides administrative support to one or more lending officers to contribute to the overall efficient operation of the department.
· Assists loan officer(s) in support of customer relationships.
· May handle customer contacts and inquiries regarding loan applications.
· Prepares consumer/commercial loans, both with heavy emphasis on real estate lending.
· Review consumer/commercial loan documents for accuracy.
· Responsible for reviewing loan documentation, post-closing.
· May have some customer contact and may close the loan, if needed.
· May assume responsibility of projects that are complex and confidential in nature
· Supports the Bank’s overall mission and implements standards, policies and procedures, confidentiality guidelines and regulatory issues
· Other duties and responsibilities assigned within the Loans/Administration area

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
EDUCATION REQUIRED: High School Diploma or equivalent education or experience.
EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES:
· Good verbal communication skills.
· Requires complete knowledge of loan documents and a loan platform system.
· Good interpersonal skills; able to work well with a wide range of people.
· Demonstrates dependability through good attendance and adherence to timelines and schedules.
· Good follow through on projects.
· Excellent attention to detail.
· Strong sense of customer service.
· Intermediate computer skills.
· Able and willing to continue business skill development.
· Basic knowledge of federal regulations as it applies to lending.
· Prefer 3-5 years’ experience
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS: Sitting or standing for long periods of time, walking, finger dexterity, feeling, repetitive motions, talking, hearing and visual acuity. Professional office environment. Occasional lifting of storage boxes.
