Kinsley is currently seeking personnel for our growing Site team in Dagsboro, DE. Positions include general laborers, heavy equipment operators, pipelayers, tri-axle dump truck drivers, and foremen. Successful candidates should possess a willingness to learn, have a good work ethic and a positive attitude. TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

GENERAL LABORER

• Assist in backfilling and running compaction equipment
• Clean and prepare construction sites by removing debris and possible hazards
• Use various hand and power tools
• Assist with removal of fine grade stones along curb lines and sidewalks
• Take and understand instructions from crew leaders

• Operates equipment in compliance with Kinsley's safety policies and procedures
• Operates track loader to excavate trenches, fill ditches or load materials
• Excavates trenches from mainlines such as water, sanitary sewer, and storm sewer
• Pulls trench boxes as necessary
• Ensures company equipment is maintained and in good running condition by greasing and checking fluids
• Demonstrates a working knowledge of all aspects of construction

• Installation of new pipes in trench for storm or sanitation sewers, drains, and water mains
• Align pipes in pipeline sections
• Ensure subgrade and pipe are on grade and on line
• Assist in backfilling and running compaction equipment
• Job site hazard recognition

• Effectively lead, manage and motivate crews of 5 to 10 individuals
• Successfully manage and schedule subcontractors
• Interpret blueprints, project plans, and specifications
• Plan and schedule for necessary manpower, tools, materials and equipment needed to complete the job
• Responsible for completing daily timesheets and maintaining daily logs

• Drives truck equipped with dump bed hauling loose construction materials from one location to another as instructed
• Secure all loads according to state and federal regulations
• Comply with all federal and state commercial driving rules and regulations
• Follow schedule for pickups and deliveries of materials
• Must spray surfaces of truck with protective compound to prevent adhering of certain materials
• Expected to keep truck in good working order and clean, including truck bed

• Minimum of 5 years of field leadership experience is required for foreman position
• Applicants should possess knowledge of underground utility installation, excavation regulations, and pipeline safety
• Ability to work in a crew-based and fast-paced environment
• Punctuality and dependability are required
• Perform a variety of manual tasks for extended periods and sometimes in unfavorable weather conditions
• Perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms, legs and moving whole body such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, and handling of materials
• Ability to work both independently and as a team player
• Ability to pass DOT pre-employment physical and drug/alcohol screening
• For driver position, must have a Commercial Driver's License Class A or B and a clean driving record
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
