New Construction and Facilities Maintenance Specialist

King Estate Winery seeks a New Construction and Facilities Maintenance Specialist to join the team. This position will be responsible for a variety of tasks throughout the multifaceted campus.  The ideal candidate will have a high level of maintenance experience, technical expertise, analytical skills, be team oriented, have a positive attitude, reliable transportation and proven dependability. 

Essential Job Duties:

• Performs repairs and preventative maintenance services on a variety of facility buildings and equipment
• Working closely with vendors and counterparts
• Conducts safety checks and periodic inspecitions in all aspects of the facility
• Maintains a clean, safe work area in compliance with Company and OSHA standards
• Ability to effectively communicate needed repairs or tasks
• Reports, responds to, repairs and/or inspects and performs general maintenance in all areas of the estate including; guest houses, restaurant, winery, bistro, shop and any other area assigned
• Awareness of fire, safety, and protection equipment/hazards

General Maintenance Skills:

• Building and roof repair knowledge
• Ability to read schematics
• Extensive construction experience
• Minor carpentry, doors/locks
• Exterior painting and pressure washing
• Basic plumbing knowledge
• Appliance troubleshooting/repairs
• Ability to read and comprehend service and technical information ensuring compliance with plans and specifications

Equipment Skills:

• Scissor Lift
• Forklift
• Boom lift (training available on site)
• Knowledge in hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and electrical systems desired

Other Requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs repeatedly
• Able to remain highly agile, going up and down ladders as needed
• COVID-19 vaccine Required.
• Ability to pass pre-employment criminal background check

Wage commensurate with experience and qualifications.
