The Graphic Designer, under general supervision, participates in the conceptualization of advertising, marketing campaigns, and product/service promotions reporting to the Director of Marketing provides graphic design/creative support for Kinecta, ensuring all designed materials are consistent with the overall branding strategy for Kinecta as well as within regulatory compliance; ensures materials produced are compliant with credit union policy and financial institution regulations and support both brand identity and the Credit Union’s marketing and corporate objectives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Designs / implements marketing campaigns for new and existing product lines using Marketing standard graphic design software (including Adobe suite).
Works closely with the Marketing Specialist and Marketing Product Specialist.
Coordinates the development and/or designs campaign materials including collateral, direct mail, in-branch signage, digital and other promotions/campaign support.
Creates and sends the Marketing Insider weekly.
Ensures marketing materials have the appropriate disclosures.
Assists the Marketing team with various design projects as required.
Provides community programs support.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
Computer skills: Intermediate word processing required. Knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Suite of products including PhotoShop, and Illustrator.
Knowledge of Inlighten/in-branch signage platforms is preferred.
Strong product knowledge of financial services is preferred.
Strong communications skills are required. The incumbent meets and presents to all levels of personnel within the Marketing Department and throughout the organization.
Must be able to work independently. This position is results oriented.
Education, Training and Experience:
Potential candidates for this position must meet the following requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or Business.
3-5 years experience in campaign planning and execution in the financial services industry.
Strong knowledge of desktop publishing software such as Adobe in-Design, Illustrator and Photoshop required.
