The job requires the CAD Technician to:
Interpret plans and specifications
Pay attention to details
Communicate with Estimators I Project Managers
Keep supervisor informed of workloads and progress
Improve industry knowledge and skills
Use company forms and formats
Keep all paperwork organized and easy to locate
Keep all CAD drawings organized on the computer
Skills required:
A minimum of five (10) years industry experience With various sized projects, with direct experience In specifically drawing large storefronts, window walls, curtain walls and other glazing systems
Proficiency In AutoCAD 2D and 3D (at least version 2017) and Revit
Ability to read architectural/structural drawings.
Ability to us MS Word / Excel / Projects / Bluebeam with proficiency
