The Substance Abuse Therapist is responsible for providing confidential addiction counseling, education and support to individuals and families struggling with mental illness and chemical dependence. The substance abuse therapist will provide treatment inclusive of but not limited to assessment, treatment planning, psycho-education, case management, client advocacy and follow up care.
Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Human Services or related filed required.
Must possess state Licensure or Certification
Minimum of two years experience as a Substance Abuse Counselor.
Valid Driver's License required First Aid and First Aid/CPR certification required.
Must possess basic personal computer knowledge.
Must be 21 years or older.
