Please note this is a part-time position. Approximately 30 hours per week. Typical work schedule will be Monday - Friday 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. and/or until completion of work. JOB BRIEF Under direct supervision, accelerates the processing of client check and remittance data according to standard bank operating procedures. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Accurately keys alpha-numeric information from check, invoice/stub, etc. via PC terminal into an automated lockbox system. Follows established corporate and department policies and procedures. MARGINAL OR PERIPHERAL FUNCTIONS Cross training in other functional areas is required to maintain coverage in critical department functions, e.g., mail sort, mail extract, and reassociation. Other duties as assigned. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or equivalent. Excellent 10-key and typing skills with PC/keyboard experience; applicants will be tested for ten key and/or data entry skills. Requires the ability to read and follow instructions, eye-hand coordination, manual dexterity and the ability to operate general office equipment. Flexible, able to work additional hours as needed. Can effectively cope with change; is cool under pressure; can handle stress; is dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers. Meets production and accuracy standards. Must be comfortable and experienced with computers and navigation. Demonstrated ability or experience to visually verify data quickly and accurately. Please note that a data entry assessment will be administered as part of the interview process for this position. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Prior lockbox, item processing, and data entry experience. TRAINING REQUIRED Lockbox training via My Learning Center. RemitTrac. On the job training as necessary.
