We are looking for an HVAC Service Manager & Lead Technician to join our team! You will manage installations service, and repair of commercial heating and air conditioning systems.
Summary: Responsible for developing a profitable and self-sustaining service department. Knowledge, troubleshooting and repairing abilities of a variety of HVAC/R systems, split systems, RTU's, AHU's, hydronic systems and VRV/VRF systems required. Maintaining an acceptable rate of business acquisition and work with other departments and labor management to maximize profits and ensure mutually beneficial projects
Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue clients and projects
- Maintain client satisfaction to secure long-term profitable department
- Estimating, to include obtaining vendor and subcontractor quotes and assisting other estimators
- Generate proposals as required for Service Repairs, Change outs, IAQ, Energy Solutions, Controls
- Read and interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints
- Knowledge of a variety of HVAC/R Systems such as split systems, RTU's AHU's hydronic, VRV/VRF
- Perform onsite diagnosis, service calls, warranty calls
- Provide startups, generate startup reports, O&M's Submittals and full documentation
- On-call duties including afterhours phone monitoring, dispatch, communication with other techs and management
- Crane operation and lift plans
- Inspections
- Material procurement; Tools procurement tracking and storage
- Train and recruit fellow team members
- Inspect and perform equipment repairs and replacements
- Other duties as assigned
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- 5 years previous experience in HVAC service
- Familiarity with HVAC wiring diagrams, blueprints
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
- BA or Associate degree a plus
- HVAC Licensure
- EPA Card
- Bi-lingual preferred
- Ability to work nights and weekends when required
- Flexible and Collaborative self-starter
