Business Financial Analyst

The Financial Business Analyst supports the organization to develop key sales and business strategies through strong analytical skills focused on data, while supporting the financial services team in some general ledger accounting. These skills will be utilized and demonstrated through developing analytical processes, key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards that lead to a comprehensive sales and business strategy. This role will be involved in ensuring data quality, mining data, and working with analytical tools like Power BI, IBM Cognos, Tableau and/or other similar software in order to create reports, dashboards and presentations.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Utilizes ERP and Analytic tools to create reports and data files that can be used to develop reporting.
2. Works collaboratively with other departments to develop reporting and dashboards.
3. Compiles data from external sources that can be integrated with internal data to assist in developing strategies.
4. Writes reports using customizable report interface in the ERP system.
5. Builds dashboards that provide user specific reports and actionable information.
6. Develops an understanding of the global business strategy and suggest KPIs to facilitate performance improvements.
7. Supports General Ledger reporting during month end processing.
8. Other duties as assigned.

• Experience - 3 years of experience in an accounting, financial and/or data analytics role with an emphasis on data and report development.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or business analytics required.
• Collaborative attitude and excellent communication with a customer service focus

• Understanding of basic Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
