Description: Stand up forklift operator at large agricultural manufacturing plant
Hours of work: 6:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Monday – Friday
OT likely will be available- some daily and some on the weekends
Hourly rate: $21.93
Would like to target candidates with “stand up or reach truck” experience
Individuals should be able/willing to be trained and certified in forklift operations. Forklift positions will require a valid drivers license.
This position reports to a Logistics Supervisor and the core competencies include responsibilities centered around the Receiving, Handling and Delivery of Materials in the Warehouse and/or the Manufacturing Plant. Work could include inbound and outbound freight. Loading and unloading material. forklift operation.
Required Qualifications
•Knowledge of warehouse operation policies and procedures
•Ability to operate all material handling equipment in the warehouse or plant
•This position may work outdoors
•This position will operate equipment on a continuous basis
•Basic visual location verification
•Cross-trained on multiple job functions
•Ability to work independently
•High School Diploma or GED required
