About this position: Provide equipment availability through technical expertise, root cause analysis, troubleshooting, repair and preventive maintenance to achieve manufacturing production targets.
Your responsibilities:
Support department in achieving daily production targets
Perform daily equipment inspections/checks for abnormal situations
Document daily equipment related activities
Suggest and implement approved ideas that reduce potential downtime
Support weekend work and plant shutdown activities
Preventative Maintenance and continuous improvement of Equipment, Tools and processes as required, in order to guarantee Safety, Quality and Delivery targets
Equipment modifications as required to support Business Plan initiatives, New Model requirements or other re-tooling requirements
What you need to be successful in the role:
Experience with performing automated machine installation
Overall experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical and electrical components
Understanding of blueprints pneumatic schematics and electrical schematics
Experience with industrial robot mechanics (Fanuc preferred)
Intermediate computer skills for creation of documents, presentations, and studies to present information to management.
Lock out / Tag out equipment skill
Skill to use testing equipment
Ability to coordinate project tasks with other groups
Ability to find parts in CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems)
CMMS (computerized Maintenance Management Systems) knowledge
Knowledge of RCM (Reliability Centered Maintenance) Responsibility
Ability to understand PDCA (Plan, Do, Check, Act) philosophy
Ability to understand PLC (Mitsubishi and Allen Bradley preferred) and other associated control systems
Skill to implement 5 why concept
Root cause analysis skills
Ability to investigate part cost for repair
Ability to read ladder logic and troubleshoot
Ability to read electrical prints and troubleshoot
Ability to read mechanical prints
Ability to use tools safely and in the correct manner
Ability to rebuild gearboxes and spindle
Ability to trouble shoot different type of machines by finding information in manuals.
Ability to understand safety circuits
Knowledge of the equipment safety operations
Ability to read safety circuit prints
Ability to confirm safety proper operation after modifications or repairs
Knowledge of every safety device and how it functions in department
Able to work in different environments and temperatures both inside and outside of the plant
Flexible Availability
Required Work Experience:
5 years’ experience or 2 years’ experience with Technical Degree
Required Education:
High school diploma required

Environment associate will work in: Office / Production
Estimated amount of overtime: 5 - 10 hours per week
Frequency and duration of travel: As needed based on business needs
