Life Customer Service Rep - Greensboro, NC 27401
Kelly Services is now seeking customer service professionals in the Greensboro area to join the team of a Fortune 250 American insurance and investment management company as Contact Center Customer Service Representative. This is a foot-in-the-door opportunity with an incredible successful and well-known financial institution! This position is ONSITE in Greensboro.
THE BASICS
Pay : $15/hour
Shift : 8:30 am - 5 pm M-F
Hire Type: Contract with potential for extension
Parking : Parking will be reimbursed in full ($85/month max) if a monthly parking pass is purchased from Bellemeade Parking or Davie Street Parking Decks. Daily rates will not be reimbursed.

POSITION PROFILE

As a full-time representative a life insurance care center, you will be responsible for providing telephone customer service as a primary point of contact for Lincoln Financial producers, policyholders, and authorized third parties, while meeting quality and productivity expectations. You will handle or refer inquires in a professional and efficient manner, ensuring accuracy and effective follow-through. \t \tPrimary responsibilities of this position include:

Answers inbound customer service calls and handles customer inquiries related to basic life insurance policies
\t\t
  • \t
Analyzes customer information retrieved from multiple computer systems
\t\t
  • \t
Identifies and authenticates callers using established procedures
\t\t
  • \t
Consults with Senior Customer Care Professional and/or Associate Manager to resolve complex customer inquiries
\t\t
  • \t
Perform repetitive tasks while maintaining targeted productivity levels, handling times, and accuracy and net promoter scores
\t\t
  • \t
***Training will be for 6-8 weeks (8:30 am - 5 pm M-F) 40 hours per week**

Enters information into the multiple computer systems based on the customer's inquiry
\t\t
  • \t
Refers customer inquiries to other departments via phone or online as appropriate to the situation
\t\t
  • \t
Provides detailed information related to life insurance policies, coverage, beneficiaries, account balances
\t
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
\t
  • \t
1+ years of professional experience with customer service (including retail/food services)- need not be directly related to the position
\t\t
  • \t
Strong verbal and written communication skills
\t\t
  • \t
Computer savvy: ability to learn new systems and processes
\t\t
  • \t
Customer service and/or financial services experience preferred
\t\t
  • \t
Basic skills in MS Word and Outlook as well as using multiple software applications preferred
\t\t
  • \t
A demonstrated track record of consistently meeting and/or exceeding performance expectations
\t
