We have a shift available:

M-F 6:30pm-5am working summer hours for now ( afer will be 3pm-2am)

What’s a typical day as Industrial Painter/ Blaster? You’ll be:

. Responsibilities include the ability to formulate, test, mix and apply coatings to meet specifications.

 May also be required to prep and sandblast.

 Must be familiar with conventional and HVLP painting techniques.

 Must be dependable and work effectively under pressure.

 ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Applies protective and/or decorative paint finishes to prepared surfaces on a variety of products to suit specifications.

 Troubleshoot and diagnose paint problems as necessary.

 Mixes and prepares paint using proper techniques for maximum coverage and minimum waste.

Maintains equipment and area in a clean and safe condition.

 Preps and paints product on a rotating basis.

 Sandblast products before painting as needed.

 Indicates suggested changes on shop work orders, i.e. process times, errors on BOM s, routings, prints, other discrepancies to review with supervisor.

 Completes and submits shop work orders, rework, and miscellaneous sheets to update individual utilization reports on a daily basis or as required to ensure hours worked equals hours paid.

 May sandblast products before painting, as needed.

Lifts heavy, approximately 50 lbs., material on a daily basis.

Must pass annual pulmonary function test.

Assists in loading and unloading of paint booth.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

 JOB SPECIFICATIONS: Experience Required: Minimum two years of related experience in a manufacturing job shop environment preferred. Characteristics Required: Must possess a strong sense of urgency along with perfectionist eye for a quality finish. Must be able to work with minimum supervision. Safety Equipment / Precautions Required: Uniform. Full coveralls as needed. Safety glasses with side shields. Safety shoes or boots. Hard hat, ear plugs and face shield when necessary. Respirator training and annual Pulmonary Function Test PFT
