JOB TITLE: Technology Support Lead

SUMMARY
This position is responsible for the overall management and support of IT infrastructure, technology vendor relationships, information security, and technology operations at KSPHQ. The role will research, design, recommend, and implement technology solutions that align with and support the strategic goals and mission of the organization. The Technology Support Lead is expected to work primarily on-site, 40 hours a week as a full time, non-exempt, benefits eligible position at KSPHQ and will report to the Business Manager. 


ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Prioritizing, troubleshooting, and resolving support issues impacting hardware, infrastructure, and KSPHQ staff.
  • Overseeing end user hardware procurement, deployment, onboarding, and retirement along with maintaining an accurate inventory of all hardware.
  • Documenting and maintaining all licensing, subscriptions, and contracts with IT vendors while holding them accountable to service levels and deliverables.
  • Ensuring critical infrastructure, software, websites, and systems including but not limited to servers, switches, Wi-Fi, firewalls, VOIP phone systems, call center management systems are maintained and operational on a 24/7 basis.
  • Supporting leadership in researching, vetting, recommending, and implementing innovative technologies that support the mission of KSPHQ.
  • Assuring all IT processes, procedures, and policies are documented, reviewed, and updated regularly.
  • Developing training resources for staff and providing in-person or virtual training on existing and new technologies, software, and tools.
  • Developing and delivering effective written and verbal communications on technology initiatives for all levels of KSPHQ staff related to changes, updates, and outages.

QUALIFICATIONS

   REQUIRED

  • Associate’s Degree
  • Five years of experience  installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting PC systems, infrastructure, and enterprise software 
  • Above-average customer service skills are required
  • Ability to troubleshoot advanced computer systems and hardware
  • Ability to troubleshoot advanced networks and infrastructure
  • Ability to troubleshoot advanced software installations and performance issues
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in a pleasant, helpful manner

   PREFERRED

  • Network/Security Certifications
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • G-Suite experience
  • Occasional travel may be required (10% or less).

LOCATION & WORK ENVIROMENT
This position is eligible to work a hybrid remote schedule after a probationary period. The employee must reside within a reasonable distance of KSPHQ offices to support and troubleshoot on-premise infrastructure and hardware. The employee frequently is required to sit. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

  • Full time, Exempt, Salaried
  • $58-65,000.00 per year
