Program Manager

JOB SUMMARY:
BKV Corporation is looking for a program manager to help lead a portfolio of strategic initiatives across the company. As part of the program management office, the program manager works with all departments to scope, plan, and execute BKVs largest, most complex cross-functional projects.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, has a wealth of project management expertise, high attention to detail, showcases a great ability to adapt and learn, and is a structured thinker; This person quickly breaks down problems, information, and data into logical groupings, clear next steps, etc. and is fast to narrow in on the crux of an issue. They quickly add structure to ambiguity of all kinds. In addition, this person is very entrepreneurial and wants to find an exciting role that can turbo-charge their career while willing to take on all sorts of roles and take direction from others. They are a team player with self-confidence, but no self-centered ego.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The program manager leads a portfolio of cross-functional projects, including deal integration efforts, process improvement initiatives, and systems implementations. Ensures initiatives are on time, to budget and quality to deliver on defined value parameters.

Duties and responsibilities include:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to agree suitable strategies, objectives, and success metrics
  • Manage the project from initiation to stand up, including, scoping, project & governance setup, risk management, stakeholder management, resourcing, and accurate estimation of time, effort, and cost to support the successful delivery of programs​​​​​​
  • Lead project management resources to endure projects are delivered on time, to budget and realize value  ​​​​​​
  • Identify integration opportunities, organize, and monitor inter-connected projects Coordinate cross-project activities​​​​​​​​​​
  • Manage and evaluate project managers and other staff.
  • Develop and control deadlines, budgets, and activities.
  • Apply change, risk, and resource management.
  • Provide input to the creation and adherence to PMO best practices, methodologies and standards and business ethics guidelines across the organization
  • Perform other duties as required
 
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, science, engineering, or related degree required. MBA strongly preferred
  • Certificate in project management, process and change methodologies preferred.
  • Oil & Gas experience preferred (including understanding of unconventional drilling)
  • Minimum of five (5) years of program and project management required
  • Minimum of two (2) 2-5 years of business and strategy consulting experience in a leading consulting firm preferred
  • Experience defining, and managing cross-functional projects, including merger & acquisitions and new business ventures
  • Proven record of successful stakeholder and change management
  • Client focused, responsive and reliable. Highly organized, with the ability to work on multiple projects
  • Outstanding computer, financial modeling, and data manipulation skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communications and presentation skills
  • Successful track working in a high paced, dynamic environment is a must.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
  • The job is based in Denver, Colorado at BKV Corporation headquarters. Remote work arrangements will be considered for highly qualified candidates  
  • Occasional travel may be required and would be on an as needed basis. Currently estimated less than 20% of total time.
     
REPORTING STRUCTURE:
  • This role will report directly to the Director of PMO
  • Role has no direct reports. Manages partner resources 

SALARY RANGE:
$156,000 to $234,000
