Job Description

This position will provide and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through processing orders and inquiries for both external & internal customers.


1.Answer phones

2.Sales order entry. Code and enter customer purchase orders.

3.Check for material availability and coordinate with scheduling to produce.

4.Coordinate with outside warehouses for shipment of stocked material and monitor inventory.

5.Prepare, maintain and issue weekly customer inventory reports.

6.Respond to all customer inquiries in a timely manner. Such as order status, expediting delivery, material availability, resolving complaints, etc.

7.Provide documents as required/requested. CoA’s, Spec Sheets, Cert. of Insurance, packing slips, invoices, etc.

8.Assist sales in any way to ensure customers’ needs are met.

9.Assign and process return material authorizations and coordinate with shipping, QC & accounting.

10.Maintain internal logs as required. i.e. Sample log, T&C log

11.Maintain office and customer files.

12.Act as sales representative to small house accounts with Tech Rep assistance when needed.

13.Proof co-worker’s orders to ensure accuracy.

14.Assist with external audits providing all requested documents immediately.

15.Communicate with co-workers, management, customers, vendors and others in a courteous and professional manner.

16.Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions.

17.Conform to all safety rules and use all appropriate safety equipment.

18.Perform other duties as assigned.
