Individual & Family Therapist/ Grants Pass, OR
Hours: Monday- Friday 9:00am-5:00pm as well as be part of a shared on-call rotation (approximately every 8-10 weeks)
Compensation: $3,874- $5,645 per Month DOE + $1,000 Sign On Bonus!
Benefits: 2.4 weeks paid time-off, 1 week of paid sick-time the first year of employment, 6 paid holidays per year, health, vision and dental insurance, 401k with up to 6% employer contribution. Agency is qualified for federal student aid public service loan forgiveness program.

About this position:
Our therapists use a trauma informed approach to provide psychotherapeutic services to youth ages 11-17 in our co-ed psychiatric residential treatment facility who have various mental health diagnoses. Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to): delivering exceptional clinical skills in therapeutic intervention, comprehensive knowledge of cognitive behavioral interventions, and the ability to develop and monitor individualized service plans.
This position is located in Grants Pass, Oregon, the whitewater rafting capital of the state, known for its iconic slogan, “It’s the Climate.” Surrounded by mountains, it is the perfect home for those who love nature, hiking, and other outdoor activities.
Successful candidates will have:
Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) classifications, which include a degree in one of the following: Graduate degree in Psychology; Social Work; Art or Music Therapy; or other Behavioral Science field as defined by OAR 309-019-0105 (61) Additionally the QMHP's ability to become licensed within 2 years is preferred. Applicant must demonstrate the ability to conduct an assessment including identifying precipitating events, gathering histories of mental and physical health, substance abuse, past mental health services and criminal justice contacts. As well as assess family, cultural, social and school relationships, conduct a mental status examination, complete a DSM diagnosis, write and supervise the implementation of a service plan, and provide individual, family or group therapy.
