Kadiak, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Senior Program Manager to support Kadiak and our government customer. This is a remote opportunity.

- Primarily, this role involves developing the framework for portfolio management to establish a common operating picture by coordinating and aligning the planning, funding, development and outcomes of strategic projects and objectives.
- Drive assessments to derive organizational baselines, enterprise architecture and a shared understanding of business and organizational capabilities, value-streams, processes, information lifecycles and maturity levels.
- Establish a strategic portfolio plan; coordinate the planning and initiation of a portfolio of projects; monitor the progress, budgets, and schedules of portfolios; and communicate with portfolio and project stakeholders, management, and other relevant parties.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand the agencies multi-year vision and communicate goals throughout the program
- Planning, budgetary, contract and systems/program management execution functions required to design, develop, test, procure and/or produce technical tools, assessments, strategies, roadmaps, and models for organizational maturity.
- Provide technical and management support for programs/projects identified on multiple task orders.
- Prepare project implementation plans, coordinate project activities, monitor milestones, and provides progress reports.
- Must be able to guide, mentor and supervise a combined team of subject matter experts and mid-level professionals involved in performing technical design, coding, testing, implementation, and support of portfolio management tools.
- The ability to communicate technical as well as non-technical information clearly, both orally and in writing to both technical and non-technical audiences (required)
Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Bachelor’s degree and 15+ years of management experience in the IT field or related area
- PMP Certification
- Experience managing large IT programs and subject matter experts.
- Ability to communicate at all levels with clarity, poise, maturity and precision both written and verbally in external customer-facing situations.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Experience working with the Federal government.
- Experience with Portfolio and Enterprise Architecture tools
Working Environment & Conditions
This job operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand, walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations and withstand moderate amounts of stress.
The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
