White Glove Delivery Driver [2200]

Job Description

KW is looking for full time Delivery Drivers for local delivery and installation / un-installation process of a variety of home appliances, fitness equipment, and furniture. Work up to 6 days per week depending on the season. Individuals with home delivery and installation experience are plus.

Responsibilities

Operate 16ft up to 26ft straight box truck with a lift gate

Load/unload truck

Move equipment / product (Home appliance, furniture, elec. parts, panel, TV, etc.) into customer’s businesses/homes, including ascending/descending flight(s) of stairs without damage to the product or customer’s property

Performs other related duties including warehouse as assigned.

Job Requirements

Class C Non-CDL driver’s license

Clean driving record

Ability to pass background check

DOT medical card

Inclined Broad knowledge of tools

Ability to lift up to 75lbs without help

Ability to move up to 300lbs with assistance of a dolly, hand truck or other person

High school diploma or GED

Must Pass pre-employment tests

Work Schedule / Work Location

General Services Days are Monday-Friday (9AM- 6PM)

Hours worked may vary due to scheduling

Start time will be determined depending on daily route

Additional time may be requested as deemed necessary

Be available for Saturday or after hour installations (if needed)

Solo or two man delivery team (depending on type of product)

Overnight stay, driver will need drive to different states locally to do delivery / installations and stay at a hotel 1-2 times a week

Start Times

Between 5AM - 9AM (Start time will be determined depending on daily route Shift)

Driver will work a 8-13 hour shift (Dependent on daily route)

For local routes, operation area is a 350 mile radius of Bensenville, IL (IN, WI, IA, MI & North Ohio)
