Job Description

We are seeking a Project Controller to become an integral part of our team! You will oversee financial activities as well as identify areas of improvement to increase efficiency. 

Essential Job Functions

  • Regular and reliable attendance.
  • Prepared and on time for scheduled shift with proper PPE.
  • Responsible for Daily Shift validations.
  • Must possess a current and valid Driver License with clean driving record in the event driving is necessary.
  • Promote a safe, organized, and pleasant work environment within the area of responsibility.
  • Encourage quality work ethic and mutual respect with the team.
  • Comply with all government, state, and local safety regulations as well as all company policies and rules.
  • Responsible for collecting total project estimates/budgets and implementing company cost tracking systems.
  • Responsible for setting up, facilitating, and monitoring Project Schedules to see if any adjustments are needed.
  • Report out findings to KSI Project Manager and Customers.
  • Responsible for setting up and monitoring project specific KPI’s (Key Process Indicators).
  • Responsible for assuring that Projects are billed in a timely manner.
  • Responsible for Project QA/QC Collection (Concrete & Soil Test / Weld Maps…).
  • Maintain and track all reports necessary for each project.
  • Be actively involved in Behavioral Safety Process.
  • Perform tasks assigned by Project Manager.
  •  Develop knowledge of KSI PPM-SOPs and refer to the SOP Manual prior to each task.
  • Follow all KS Industries, LLC safety, and customer policies and procedures.
  • Shall perform all physical and mental requirements listed.
  • Oversee and coordinate all financial activities and personnel
  • Set controls and budgets to mitigate risk and increase return on investments
  • Standardize and maintain a system of accounting records and techniques
  • Conduct internal audits to assess financial status
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations
  • Serve as primary contact for external auditors
  • Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in accounting management or other related fields

General Summary

A Laborer assists crew leader, equipment operator, crane operator and/or welder to accomplish daily task which consist of a variety of manual labor functions and duties.

Essential Job Functions

1. Regular and reliable attendance.
2. Prepared and on time for scheduled shift with proper PPE.
3. Responsible for Daily Shift validations.
4. Engage in morning safety tailgate meeting and communicate safety topic with crew when needed.
5. Perform and fill out pre-trip vehicle inspection before leaving the yard, check all fluids/tires/lights/ and all signs as listed on pre-trip.
6. Perform monthly tool audits on equipment and ensure compliance (vehicle registration/ fire extinguisher).
7. Follow and/or complete the Detailed Daily Work Plan (DDWP) and ensure crew actively participates, knows and follows each procedure.
8. Help identify hazards on the job site by being aware of the dangers associated with hazardous atmospheres.
9. Perform tasks assigned by PLW or Foreman like; mitigate or eliminate hazards on the job site, dig ditches, clean up spills and stand fire watch, buff and grind as needed for Welder.
10. Learn proper use and maintenance of various tools; gas monitors, two-way radios, basic hand tools, lifting, rigging and binding equipment, shovels, slings etc.
11. Be actively involved in Behavioral Safety Process as well as, BBest, SSE, and Safety Audit learning processes.
12. Develop knowledge of KSI PPM-SOPs, JSA's and refer to the SOP Manual prior to each task.
13. Follow all KS Industries, LLC safety, and customer policies and procedures.
14. Shall perform all physical and mental requirements listed.

15. Experience with Pumping Units, Well heads.

Position Requirements
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Ability to read and write in English

• Valid Drivers License Preferred

• Ability to comprehend and communicate instructions in English verbally and written

• Knowledge of Lock Out/ Tag Out process
• Knowledge of Stop Work Authority (SWA)
• Knowledge of technology (iPads, cellphones etc.)
• Ability to complete training for Behavioral Safety Process
• Ability to read a tape measure
• Ability to recognize and use hand and power tools
• Ability to demonstrate basic construction safety rules
• Ability to work in confined spaces for long periods at a time
• Ability to be clean shaven to wear supplied air mask and work at high elevated platforms

• Ability to assist crane operations as a swamper

Education and Experience

Preferably 1-2 years of related industry experience (6 months minimum) along with knowledge of tools.

Working Conditions: The locations vary from site to site. Work is physically demanding and requires the ability to concentrate well on the job at hand, in all types of weather. Majority of the work is construction-based work. Walking and working surface vary depending on the terrain, from flat to extreme slopes and frozen, wet, snowy and slippery conditions.

Working Hours:

Normally, a full-time employee will work 40 hours per week, depending on the factors such as weather and schedules. Work schedules and hours may vary depending on specific client locations and projects. In general, applicable work schedules include 2 weeks on 2 weeks off. All labor laws in reference to rest breaks and meal periods will be followed.
