~Types of Maintenance Responsibilities:
*Residential plumbing repairs & installation – sinks, faucets, toilets, tub & shower, supply lines, drain lines, ½” – 1” copper sweating
*Electrical repairs & installation – switches & outlets, lighting, ceiling & exhaust fans, garbage disposals
*General repairs & installation – cabinets, vanities, drawers & shelves, locks, mirrors, window coverings, window sashes & glazing, general hardware
*General carpentry – including basic framing, baseboards & casings, doors, closet doors, drywall installation & repair, painting
*Appliances – stoves, dishwashers, garbage disposals, overhead stove hoods, washer/dryers, non-refrigerant repairs of air conditioners and refrigerators
*Heating system – boilers, circulation pumps, control units, radiant heat pipes, zone valves, thermostats, circulation motors, electric control systems, forced air systems
*Domestic hot water heaters and boilers, storage tanks
*General landscape maintenance and snow & ice removal (No mowing or plowing)
~Special Projects - Minor improvement projects may be required periodically, including common area touch-up painting, kitchen and bath updates, ceramic tile floors and walls, and minor general construction, etc.
~After Hours Emergency On-Call – you will rotate on-call duties and be on-call every four to five weeks.
Requirements: Must pass pre-work screening, have your own vehicle and valid MN driver's license. Pool license and boiler's license preferred but will train candidate with great work ethic and attitude. You must also have your own basic tools, such as hammers, drills, screw drivers, etc. A minimum of two years of building maintenance, construction or mechanical experience required.
