Job Description

Position Summary:

Kind Lending, a fast-growing correspondent mortgage lender that offers mortgage products through both wholesale and retail channels, is seeking a Junior Graphic Designer to join its marketing team. The Junior Graphic Designer will be responsible for supporting the creation and development of visual assets for the company's marketing campaigns, including print and social media. The ideal candidate should be a creative individual with a strong eye for design and the ability to translate marketing concepts into visually appealing and effective materials. This position is part-time to full-time and freelancers are welcome to apply.

Pay Disclosure:

The starting base pay range for this position is $18.00 – $29.00 per hour. The actual base is dependent on many factors such as: work experience, business needs, market demands, and other compensation components. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.

Work Location & Hours: In Office in Santa Ana, CA 3 days per week with an opportunity for partial hybrid work from home in the future.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the marketing team to understand the company's brand and marketing objectives and translate them into high-quality visual designs that resonate with the target audience.
  • Design and produce digital and print materials, including email templates, social media graphics, banners, flyers, brochures, presentations, and other marketing collateral.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including copywriters and project managers, to ensure that design projects are delivered on time and within scope.
  • Ensure that all designs comply with the company's brand guidelines, are consistent across all channels, and meet the required quality standards.
  • Stay up to date with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies, and apply them to improve the company's visual communication.

Competencies:

  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design or a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • 1-2 years of experience in graphic design, preferably in a marketing or advertising agency
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • A portfolio of design work that demonstrates creativity, technical skills, and problem-solving abilities.

Work Authorization:

Must be able to verify identity and employment eligibility to work in the U.S. without a visa sponsorship.
