The CAPEX Analyst and Planner at KIK Consumer Products will assist in managing the company's complete portfolio of CAPEX projects. This role is primarily responsible for collecting, consolidating, analyzing, reporting, and communicating CAPEX project status and performance metrics. This position reports to the Director of Capital Projects for KIK Consumer Products.

Essential Job Functions
  • Perform and document monthly reconciliation of CAPEX Expenditures, construction in progress and project cost centers. Document and follow-up on discrepancies.
  • Prepare and distribute timely and accurate regular and ad-hoc status reports on Capital Expenditures to key stakeholders with relevant comments and explanations.
  • Prepare, analyze, and submit original CAPEX budget and forecast together with the requested schedules and variance analyses, in accordance with budgeting system, instructions and deadlines.
  • Assist in the preparation and periodically reviews/updates the CAPEX budget.
  • Assists in preparation of accurate, realistic, and timely Capital Expenditure proposals that effectively present the core issues and project viability together with all strategically, tax, legal, operational, and technical aspects, so that key stakeholders are provided with relevant information and they can make informed business decisions.
  • Follow-up with key stakeholders to obtain the necessary approvals for all Capital Expenditure requests, in accordance with related principles and practices. Keep appropriate filing system/documentation of all approved CAPEX projects.
  • Consolidate input and discuss monthly CAPEX Rolling Forecast with relevant project responsible. Prepare and analyze forecast in line with latest CAPEX plan.
  • Update accounting system with CAPEX related info, accurately maintain projects spending and schedules in the CAPEX control system and analyze spending variances against the approved project scope.
  • Prepare and provide reliable forecast of CAPEX spend to support the cash-flow and balance sheet forecast preparation.
  • Supports CAPEX projects with preparation, conduction, and analysis of formal multi-quote RFQs.
  • Supports Engineering group with cost reduction project impact tracking, analysis, and reporting.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Cost Accounting, or Industrial Engineering.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in finance, cost accounting or project management with a manufacturing company.
  • Experience with investment appraisal techniques and methods of performance management
  • Strong communication (written and verbal), interpersonal and organizational skills, and the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of staff.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications as well as SAP and Project Management software such as Smartsheet or MS Project.
  • Must possess a positive attitude, be team oriented, ambitious, quality driven and of the highest integrity.
  • Ability to travel (up to 10%).
