Senior Data Analyst

• Develop, document, and test Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) Extract, Load, Transform (ETL) scripts
• Automate database maintenance and ETL jobs in Microsoft SQL Server environment
• Develop and implement strategies for managing and archiving source data, database backups, and intermediate working databases and files
• Participate in working groups and develop requirements and specifications for collecting, cleansing, analyzing, integrating, and processing data for development of reports, intermediate working data, and metrics
• Participate in Agile meetings, reviews and stand-ups
• Develop structured calls for data from SME and team members
• Process data routinely received in various digital forms and append to data repositories
• Create and document database queries, stored procedures, tables and other data base objects to meet project requirements
• Draft and review work instructions, procedures, and technical documentation
• Prepare presentation materials in Microsoft Power Point and present briefing materials to team members and customer
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Education/Training (both required and desired):
  • Bachelor’s Degree in management or other relevant discipline required
  • 6 years of additional work experience related to the labor category functional description may be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree
  • Associate’s Degree plus 4 years of additional work experience related to the labor category functional description may be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Formal commercial or Military training in metrology and calibration desired
    
    
• Experience:
  • 5+ years of professional experience in the required task area
  • 3+ years Microsoft SQL Server and Integration Services
  • 3+ years database design tools
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and Access database
• Security:
  • Must be a US citizen
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance may be required
  • Active security clearance at level Secret or higher preferred
