EV Charging Station Project Manager

KGO is an independent project management firm that has been a leader in the commercial real estate management field for over a decade. Our services include: Project/Construction Management/Project Facility Management, Change Management, Relocation Management, and Development Support Services.

The position is to serve EV charging station installations in mid-Atlantic from Salisbury, MD through Newcastle, DE. The ideal candidate should live in this region and will travel to sites extensively.

Project Manager Position-Mid-Atlantic

  • 10-15 years' experience in Construction Management/Project Management
  • Strong infrastructure experience to include civil, electrical and FM capital projects in general. (experience with utilities is preferred)
  • Safety experience (OSHA preferred)
  • Programming/Scope Management experience
  • Proven ability with client communications at the regional FM level
  • 4-year degree and/or project management certification
  • Construction management skills:
    • Ability to read architectural and engineering drawings
    • Ability to create project budgets and schedules; manage and track multiple capital projects and keep detailed records on each separately
    • Ability to perform site due-diligence evaluations
    • Ability to forecast and track construction costs and provided variance reports as needed.
  • Project management skills:
    • Ability to speak the language of Project Management (GC, MEP, RFQ, RFP, RFI, LOI, COI, LEED, VE, TI)
    • Ability to produce reports, evaluation comparisons, summaries, meeting minutes
    • Ability to read, comment and advise clients on, construction documents, contracts, agreements, proposals, etc.
    • Ability to work with architects, engineers, GCs and vendors, especially electrical engineers and contractors
    • Ability to write RFPs for equipment, electrical, sitework and GC's
